Sarah Lifson

Dance/Movement
After earning her BFA in Dance from Rutgers University, Sarah improvised her way to New York, where she is now based as a dance artist, educator, and thinker. She collaborates with a myriad of artists, including, Kyle Marshall, Eli Tamondong, Kensaku Shinohara, and Netta Yerushalmy. As her choreographer self, she blurs the lines between abstraction and theatricality, and has presented her work at Greenspace and Dixon Place. She currently teaches creative movement at Dance Project of Washington Heights, and has set choreography and offered master classes and workshops at Clinton Middle School, Dorothy Del Guerico School for Dance, Liberty Science Center, and other schools around the tri-state area.
