Molly O'Steen
Acting/Performing Skills
Molly O’Steen is a dedicated educator and born-and-raised New Yorker. She received a B.A. in Theater Education from Emerson College, and since then has worked with students of all ages in both theater and general education. Molly has a MSed in Childhood and Special Education at CUNY Hunter College. She holds further certifications in academic areas, including Orton-Gillingham Training.
Over the past decade Molly has worked at numerous schools in the NYC metro area as both a classroom teacher and arts educator. Currently, she is a 4th grade Head Teacher at the Churchill Center and School in Manhattan, an institution for students with language-based learning disabilities. Independently, Molly provides individual coaching for students applying to specialized arts high schools and college conservatory programs.
Molly loves being a part of the Neighborhood Playhouse community, and is passionate about creating a dynamic and rich experience for our students.
