This 4-week conservatory offers instruction for serious young actors seeking rigorous, dynamic acting training in the heart of New York City. Integrated with other disciplines necessary to develop as a performing artist, student’s study in-depth the Meisner Technique inside the historical building where this world-renowned acting technique was born. Faculty from our adult Professional Acting program, working professionals, and master teachers train students in a conservatory environment. The performance skills learned are applicable to all mediums: film, theatre, television, and new media. The Intensive mirrors a challenging, diverse college-level curriculum. The program culminates in a presentation for family & friends of the skills learned throughout this exhilarating course. US and International* applicants welcome. Limited space available. Apply now!

- One personal essay answering the question, “Why do I wish to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse?”
- Upload a photo (professional or snapshot).
- A resume is optional (there is room on the form to enter workshops and classes).
- Pay the $50 application fee found on the page through PayPal for new students.
