Amanda Ryan
Acting & Improv/Floater
Amanda Ryan is a theatrical designer, administrator, educator, and recent NYC transport,
originally hailing from Rhode Island. She is thrilled to be a part of the Neighborhood Playhouse
family and work with so many talented young artists. She has recently served as a Teaching
Artist at the Providence Performing Arts Center and an administrative assistant at Bristol Valley
Theater in Naples, NY.
Amanda holds a BFA in Theatre Design / Technology from Emerson College, with some of her
favorite theatrical credits including This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing
(Lighting Designer) and Everybody (Production Electrician). She is an MFA Candidate in
Performing Arts Management at Brooklyn College, exploring inclusivity and accessibility in the
arts and aspiring to increase opportunities for arts education and experiences.
